How do I use these darn things?
In Windows you have two choices, either setting as wallpaper or saving and using later. To
set as wallpaper, right-click on the image and select SET AS WALLPAPER from the pop-up menu.
To save, right-click on the image and select SAVE PICTURE AS from the pop-up menu, select the directory to Save ("Save in" field) and the name of the Wallpaper ("File Name" field). If you need more info, you probably should do a search on it. I'm on a mac and can't give specifics at the moment.
In Macintosh, click and hold on the image to bring up a pop-up menu. Then choose to save the image to any convenient location on your hard drive (I have a folder named Desktops, for example.) To have the pictures work as your desktop, go under the Apple menu, go to Control Panels and select Appearance. In your Appearance control panel, click the tab marked "Desktop".
Click "Place Picture" (if you already have another picture as your desktop image, click "remove Picture" first, then "Place Picture"). Use the dialog box to locate and open the Deskpaper that you downloaded. Click "Set Desktop" and close the control panel.
Do you make these?
Yes and no. I find pictures and phrases that work together and put them together in photoshop, yes. As for taking the original photography, creating the phrases, no. The photography is thanks to many many people, most of whom I don't know the name of, and the phrases come from taglines, bumper stickers, Jack Handey and others. Many thanks to the unsung heroes who I can't credit because I can't name.

wallpaper for you. Occasionally something may be way out of my sensibilities, but in most
