On to the lighthouse!!
Here's another shot of the American soldiers. I guess I liked this shot, because you've already seen these guys... 0_o
Hey, check it out! This Lighthouse Park actually has a lighthouse!
FYI, there are what I believe to be some nice shots on this page. If you like any of them enough to use as a desktop, let me know what shot and I'll edit and resize that puppy for you, as well as be extremely pleased you liked one that much.
Stone Dolphin!
Now, I'm gonna shut up a moment and show you several of the shots I have of what the overlook area was like. If I were you, I wouldn't just quickly scroll through these because I think this place was damned beautiful. Imagine also what the wind must be on an overlook like this. You can hear it, you can feel it, and everything looks like this...
Wasn't that nice? I've got video of it, too, and I HIGHLY recommend it, even though the colors are way washed out compared to the pictures you just saw. The better files are larger, though.

If I could give anyone interpid enough to watch these videos one special hint, though, it would be turn down the sound! There was indeed a huge amount of wind and it's LOUD on the movies! And if anyone downloads the movies, please let me know?? I'd like to know I didn't upload them for NOTHING...
Here's a closer shot of the lighthouse.
Another shot of the area... I swear to God, this really is a super light amount of pictures.
On our way up to the lighthouse I stopped and got a shot of the park, so you could see what a thrifty use of space it was. From here you can see the American soldiers, the Taino village, and the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria.
From higher up, I could get better shots of the beach to the east of us.
...and here's Michelle and Martin up by the lighthouse. Karen didn't go up, and I don't blame her. She was interested in historical and educational information and there was pretty much none in the museum.
But there was a fantastic view of the overlook.
Lighthouse!
The museum pretty much consisted of two areas. One, a small room with a ship model in it that was about
5 feet high and 7 feet long, and another room where they put a bunch of nautical stuff on the floor.
Here's a better shot of the suit...
Martin! About to go up to the higher area, where you can see the light better.
As usual, the higher up you go, the better the view...
PHOTO OP! Here's Michelle and Martin.
And here is Martin and me.
Then we all came down and had some food at the snack bar. I also called Dad and wished him happy father's day, and called mom and said "OMG! I'm in PR! It's BEEAAAAUUUTIFUL!!" More on the next page, for those foolish enough to have gotten this far.
