The P6 BBQ had been put off one day till Sunday and was moved a bit to
Jen's house because her parents were doing a BBQ and making a lot of food anyways because
they had some friends over. So the four of us, Rob, Kat, Tal and me, headed over to Jen's
house. Here's a shot of a great face Nikki was making. This isn't the only picture where
she's got this great expression. Just the only one I posted.
I was able to get a picture of Kat without her "Dear God They're Taking
a Picture" look. HAH!! *giggles herself stoopid*
I had some Alberta Beef again, and this time BBQ'ed and rare-ish. Sorry
I couldn't bring any back, Martin. Doesn't this picture make you drool, though? No, not the
veggies. We also had salmon that Tal BBQ'ed which was really nice, as well as some venison,
which I liked way more than I'm emotionally comfortable with ^_^ Very flavorful.
A couple of the guys, including Jeff (Jen's bro, who was already
nice enough to okay me staying at his house for a week when he didn't even know
me) stood out in the HAIL to finish making food for everyone. Big Damn Heroes.
And Yay Hail!!
We all eat and talk. Yeah, exciting caption, I know, this is more of
a Documenting Who's About shot than anything exciting. Left to right, Kat, Talon, Robyn,
Me, Jen and Nikki. Yeah, I used different names (real or pseudo) for everyone, but you
really don't want me to list EVERYONES various names again, do you??
Jen (Keahi, Huai_Hsing... see? You DON'T want
every single name...) is obviously very multi-talented. Here she is
biting can of beer open. It actually WAS a useful skill, the beer was partially
frozen and she got it all into her mug with this trick.
This
is Stuey. ^_^
We spent the rest of the night talking with everyone till past midnight.
It's very hard to accurately show that in a series of photographs.
