Why is Krispy Kreme Fun?

You can watch the whole automated process of the donuts being cranked out! There were multiple kids pressed against the glass when we visited and we visited after 11pm.

Here they are going through the little warmer, just biiiiiding their time, their little yeast colonies rising, in an effort to make them light and airy for you.

After they're alllll nice and risen, they get dropped into the fryer and start getting all warm and tasty. These are obviously some filled donuts, before filling, just floating down the little grease stream. Awwwww.....

After they get flipped and the top is also fried up nice and golden brown they take a ride over the drip dry area. But what is what ahead of them? A whole WALL of icing!! ARRRGGHHHH!!

And here the first of the little guys are, emerging from the wall of icing. Little kids love to see the donuts get made, as evidenced in the reflection. FYI, this picture was taken by Rimshot, who is quite proud of it.
